"When I needed 1,200 engine mounting brackets, some machining shops acted like I was asking for the moon or something -- but not J&M. They took my project, did an exceptional job, and finished on time and within budget. Now I wouldn't go anywhere else."
The same can-do attitude that allows J&M to tackle huge jobs means we also welcome small projects. Unlike many of our competitors, runs of anywhere from 100 pieces to 10,000 pieces are not a problem for us.

Our ability to handle small-to mediumsized runs is especially valuable to customers who are pressured by just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing. To keep from sitting on inventory, they need to order smaller lots more often - but they don't want their prices to go up, and they don't want to pay set-up charges every time they place small orders. They ask for these three things and then expect us to say, "Choose any two." Instead we say, "No problem."

One reason we can easily handle smaller projects is because of high-tech equipment like our Pelletech horizontal machining center. Customers pay a one-time set-up fee and never have to pay it again, no matter what. This reduces their inventory, furnishes them with the parts they need when they need them, and keeps their costs under control.

At J&M, "thinking big" applies to the small jobs too.
